Why LPG
When gas beats both diesel and electric

The machine works inside and outside
Cleaner exhaust than diesel makes it viable in a semi-enclosed shed, and unlike electric it handles a gravel yard and wet weather without complaint.

You can't fit charging infrastructure
No battery bay, no charger, no shift planning around state of charge. Swap a cylinder in two minutes and keep going.

You run more than one shift
A spare cylinder costs a fraction of a spare battery, and the changeover takes minutes rather than a charge cycle.

Ramps and docks
Gradeability runs to 60% unladen on some models — LPG holds torque on a grade better than most operators expect.
Where LPG loses is running cost per hour against electric on a machine that never leaves the concrete. If that's your situation, look at the electric range first — we'll tell you either way.
