Forklift hire — delivered to your site
Daily, weekly and monthly hire on Bobcat electric and diesel forklifts from 1.5 to 9 tonne. Delivered and picked up, serviced while you have it, and backed by the same workshop that looks after our sales customers. Mudgee, Gulgong, Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst and Lithgow.
Float to your site, we handle both ends
Scheduled maintenance while it's with you
Buy the machine and we credit part of the hire
What we hire out
Same Bobcat machines we sell, so if the hire turns into a purchase you already know exactly how it handles your work.

The honest answer depends on how long you need it.
A job, a season or a breakdown — hire
Short-term work, covering a machine that's down, or a peak you can't justify owning through. No capital, no depreciation, no disposal problem at the end.
Six months or more — usually buy
Past roughly six months of continuous hire, ownership normally comes out ahead once finance is factored in. We'll show you both numbers side by side.
Not sure — hire first, then decide
Hire the machine you're considering. If you buy it, a share of the hire you've already paid comes off the purchase price. Agree the terms before you start.
Need it on the books a particular way — talk to us
Chattel mortgage, hire purchase, lease or rental all sit differently for tax. Your accountant will have a preference and AGCON Finance can structure it accordingly.

Forklift hire questions
How quickly can you get a forklift to me?
Around Mudgee and Gulgong, usually same or next day. Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst and Lithgow are typically two to three days depending on what's already out. Ring and we'll tell you straight away rather than promising and disappointing.
What does hire include?
The machine, delivery and pickup, and all scheduled servicing while it's with you. You cover fuel or charging and any damage beyond fair wear. We'll put the inclusions in writing before it leaves the yard.
Do I need my own licence?
Yes. Anyone operating a forklift in NSW needs a High Risk Work Licence (LF class). We don't provide operators, but we'll run your people through the specific machine on handover.
Can I hire and then buy it?
Yes, and a lot of customers do. If you buy the machine you've been hiring, we'll put a share of the hire you've already paid toward the purchase — talk to us about the terms before you start, not after.
Is long-term hire cheaper than buying?
Below about six months, usually. Beyond that, ownership normally wins once you account for finance. We'll run both numbers for you honestly — including the case where buying is better for you and worse for us.
Do you hire anything other than forklifts?
Yes — excavators, loaders and other equipment depending on availability. Ask us what's free.
